, The Israeli Navy today attacked the international monitoring of the vessel Oliva and several Palestinian fishing boats in the waters of Gaza, for the second time in two days.
Oliva, which monitors and documents the Israeli attacks against Gaza fishermen, began its work on 20 April 2011, under the auspices of the Spanish civil service world. The monitoring team is made up of activists from Italy, Sweden, the United States and Great Britain.
On Board of Oliva during today's attacks were Kejtron "Joe" and Alexander Robinson, as citizens of the United States and the Palestinian captain, Salah Ammar.

Local fisherman Ayman Ali al Habeel said Palestinian Centre for human rights, he was fishing when an Israeli gunboat opened fire indiscriminately on eleven boats in the area, including his own, and that he and other fishermen called Oliva.
When Oliva had attempted to go to their assistance, the Israeli Navy attacked them with water cannons and fired about 45 minutes.
Today's attack had severely damaged, with the crew of Oliva, forced to leave the ship, when the boat filled with water and the engine and radio nine ships were damaged. In contrast to the roles they were saved by fishermen and returned to port.
Meanwhile, Israeli gunboats continued to carry out the remaining fishing vessels to one mile from the coast, including that the towing of Oliva.
At a press conference at the port of Gaza today, the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights condemned the attacks.
PCHR Press Secretary Khalil Shaheen and Mafhouz Kabariti, the head of the fisheries and marine sports association, emphasized the peaceful nature of the mission Oliva, noting that the civilian mission, in which both their organizations to participate, along with the Union of agricultural work committees, the Coordinating Committee of popular resistance and numerous other local and international organizations.
They called upon the international community to take action to prevent further violations of international law by Israel, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949, to act to halt the further Israeli attacks on * Oliva and Gaza fishermen and the maritime blockade of the Gaza Strip. *************
