So Google want to decide for you, what messages are important and what not are e-mail messages. See ' Around the Net to MediaPost's to http://www.mediapost.com/publications/?fa=Articles.showArticle&art_aid=134756.
From what I've read one of the key factors will address filtering or people who recognizes him. It seems that the Web has created this notion that the only people who you should communicate with the people and companies you already know. LinkedIn and other social networking sites follow the same principle only allows you to connect to people who already know; or to those who may have introduced from existing contacts.
Sure that spam is a problem, we all know that, but an obsession with spam that not destructive it can be easily dealt with by pressing the delete button or using the anti-spam filters. Yes we all get lots of email that we have to go through every day, but the idea that it should only deal with people that you deal with it seems to me counterproductive and frankly, downright stupid.
We are all in business and we all want to grow and expand our business not only selling over existing customers, but with the sale of new customers. Can a business survive long-term without new customers? Of course I can.

Everyone makes mistakes, the difference between business executives and failures, success is the ability to learn from mistakes; the problem according to Dunning-Kruger effect is not knowing what you don't know creates an illusory superiority '-keep short ignorant makes you feel that you know more than you actually do, and this is what leads to poor decision-making.
For one I don't want Google or Linkedin or anyone else for that matter prefiltering what should I see, hear, read, listen, or who I should talk. We owe it to ourselves and our businesses to think for ourselves, as we can hear and use our brains to decide whether the information is valid or not.
Customers pay us to create Web videos creates contacts, email, and phone calls that help build working relationships, customer loyalty and sales in the long term. If you don't answer your phone or read emails you may have just missed the next big client, and that is not a good deal.
Thanks Google, but I'll pass.
