a bomb has killed five civilians in the South of Afghanistan, government officials have said.The dead included two children. All the victims were passengers of a minibus.
The attack took place in the Sangin district in Helmand province.
It is not known who carried out the attack, but Pakistan border area is a stronghold of the militant Taliban and al - Qaeda.
Provincial spokesman for Helmand Daud Ahmadi told the AFP news agency that the minivan "struck a mine planted Taliban".
