NHS evidence is changing.

The installation of simple proof of the NHS provides health research and professional social care with access to specialized content, including national collections of evidence in such areas as diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular
and commissioning.

Other specialized introduced content may includes a new emphasis on drug information. For the first time, users will be able to find the key sources simultaneously - including British National Formulary (BNF), national electronic library of medicines (pedagogy) and the National Centre of prescription (NOC) - quickly and easily access the information relevant to their professional practice.

It will be also possible for users to explore new subject clinical areas - developed by clinicians - bringing together the latest guidelines, information on patients of high-quality, ongoing trials and other selected information. Users can register and get regular updates on policy changes.
Staff in the NHS that have an Athens account will continue to get free access to the paid for databases of evidence (e.g., MEDLINE, CINAHL), e-books and journals key (e.g., BMJ, JAMA).
